Erica van Zon, New Work
Past exhibition
Overview
Jhana Millers is pleased to present a series of new works by Erica van Zon in the gallery foyer.
Drawing her inspiration from her personal fascinations and encounters with the local and wider world, these works feature a range of imagery, from a Sixbar Wrasse, the Interislander Ferry, to a bottle of the traditional Dutch alcoholic beverage Advocaat.
Made over the last 6 months, these works are hand-embroidered, or hand-beaded, many with textured glass and hand-formed frames – and like all of Erica’s works are joyful and infectious
