Overview

Dense and delicate hand-built pieces layered with sprayed glazes form Jaime Jenkins’ exhibition Salt Pillars, offering tangible links to the land of Aotearoa New Zealand.

Working in stoneware, she is influenced by the natural landscape of the Bay of Plenty and the lineage of New Zealand pottery. Jenkins’ holds an Advanced Diploma of Visual Art (Ceramics), from Toi Ohomai, Tauranga, and has completed internships with artists in Aotearoa New Zealand and London.
