Cosmic Mind, Quantum Field
Opening 5pm, Thursday 26 March

Jhana Millers Gallery is pleased to present Cosmic Mind, Quantum Field, a new solo exhibition by Kāryn Taylor. Many will already be familiar with Taylor’s ambient light works and her long-standing interest in perception, energy, and the unseen. This exhibition continues those explorations, extending her practice into a more focused consideration of how perception operates beyond what we can directly see.

Across the exhibition, Taylor draws on both scientific and metaphysical frameworks that understand reality as something in motion—made up of energy, vibration, and connection. Contemporary physics describes a universe composed of dynamic fields, while other traditions map energy through systems such as vibrational sound (OM), planetary ley lines, or the body’s chi channels. Taylor brings these ways of thinking into proximity, not to resolve them, but to give them visual and spatial form.

Using light, colour, and precise geometric structures, the works shift subtly as you move around them. Rather than fixed images, they remain contingent—activated by light, space, and the viewer’s position. This instability is central to the exhibition, placing perception itself at the forefront of the experience.
