Lives and works in Sydney
Lucy O’Doherty is a Sydney-based artist who works with oil paint and chalk pastels to create dreamlike interpretations of isolated dwellings and recently vacated interiors.
Since graduating from the National Art School in Sydney, O’Doherty has exhibited regularly at China Heights Gallery, Sydney and Edwina Corlette Gallery, Brisbane. She was the recipient of the prestigious Brett Whiteley Traveling Art Scholarship in 2016, resulting in a three month residency at the Cite Des Arts International in Paris in 2017. Recent solo exhibitions include Silent Skies, China Heights and Shelter, Edwina Corlette.
